After being in education for 17 years, I graduated with a Masters in Counseling degree from Crown College in 2022. My counseling training has been focused on trauma and attachment work, with specific training in EMDR, Attachment Therapy, DBT, Enneagram, and Splankna. This experience, combined with my years in education, have shaped how I approach therapy as a counselor, which is research based and results driven.

Connection and relationships are what make humans unique and beautiful. Struggles with relationships are often an indication of struggles within oneself. Counseling is an opportunity to work on oneself, heal, so thriving is possible.

The decision to start therapy can be overwhelming because it requires vulnerability and a desire to change. In the end clients often feel it was rewarding because they walk away with a more authentic understanding of self and future goals they may have never been able to imagine before. Thank you in advance for considering letting me get to know you and work with you - it is certainly a privilege I do not take lightly!
